I ordered this product on a whim in October. I have spent countless dollars on various products. The one that has been my "go to" product for quite some time and seemed to work the best on urine odors has been great but, not the best at removing some of the older stains - especially the ones from my old dog or cat's vomit. I bought the starter kit at an introductory price and gave it a try. I've seen some people say that it made the smell worse, these people need to read what this product actually does. They tell you that it will get worse before it gets better because it's drawing the source out. Now I didn't experience much of an odor on the vomit stains but, this product worked! At first I didn't think it was doing anything but, it takes time. Just read the instructions and follow them. I had one area in my living room which seemed to be where every pet has decided to throw up from time to time. The dark liquid seeps into my berber carpet and it's a pain to try and clean. I had previously scrubbed and scrubbed these stains and still had these faint brownish orange stains. I sprayed all of these stains the number of times the bottle said to and I went out after thinking it didn't do anything. Several hours later, most of it was gone! There were a couple of spots that needed a 2nd treatment but, they tell you it might. I did it again and those stains are GONE! I'm a believer! NO scrubbing on old stains - just spray and wait. That old tried and true product I was using is expensive too and I've seen it come down in recent years so, if you want to try a product that really works, order this one and maybe the more of us that do will help to bring the price down a little. Either way, I'm a customer for life!
