Just spray and walk away
July 30th, 2021
I had a geriatric cat with hypothyroidism. I tried every spray, even bought a rug shampoo machine. I had basically resigned myself to just waiting to replace the carpets.
When she passed away, I decided to try one last time to get rid of the stains with this. I did not have high hopes because nothing else had worked, but I figured I could spend $50ish to try this or thousands on new carpet, and it was worth a shot.
I'm amazed at how well it has worked. And it's easier than anything else I've tried. Just spray and walk away. No blotting, no scrubbing, no lugging around a heavy shampoo machine and emptying the filthy water.
It did take several applications to really eliminate the stain, and it did smell worse before it got better, but stains that had built up and set in over several months/years are gone enough that I'm not completely embarrassed by my carpet. I wish I had tried this sooner.
