This is a review for My Pet Peed on laminate. I have not tried it on carpet. I had a dog pass away from diabetes complications a few years ago. Shortly before the end, she had an accident and no matter what I used, the odor lingered faintly. If you've ever had a diabetic animal you know that's a special challenge to completely clean up. I cannot truthfully say this completely got it out, but I've only treated 4 times for 20 minutes at a time and each time it's significantly better. I have tried everything ever recommended by contractors, cleaning companies, pet trainers. I can honestly say this is the best so far.
My tip is follow Bob Villa's recipe for soapscum removal-basically vinegar, water, detergent, and spray it on the area before treating to remove any other cleaner residue. Let it set for 20,rinse completely with hot water, dry, then follow with the My Pet Peed..
Wear gloves to wipe up My Pet Peed, I didn't and it did make my fingers burn.

Update: It got it after the 6th treatment. Now I'm planning on buying more to keep on hand. I'm very happy with the results!
