I have 6 dogs and rescued kittens. This is the BEST product. Because the dog urine was old (one year), it took several applications over 4 days. The smell AND the stain are completely gone. Very impressed. Be sure to read the directions (I didn't and vacuumed after it dried, trying to remove the leftover stain). I emailed the company (very good customer service) and they explained what I was doing incorrectly. Spray as directed, leave ALONE...if stain isn't gone, spray again, leave ALONE for 24 hours. The stain is peeled away one layer at a time. My carpet is saved! Odor completely gone. I have recommended this product to all the rescue groups I am involved with.
